Entrepreneurs Galore

Entrepreneurs Galore

It’s Thursday, October 24, 2019, our last ESC meeting before Novaween 13. We’re here at our HQ, the historic venue, NOVA 535. Our Entrepreneur Social Club [tm], aka the ESC, gathers each week, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm for business development, drinks, mentoring, networking, laughter, plus sharing successes, failures and honest feedback. Then we go downtown for dinner and more drinks. Since there are so many new faces, personalities, ideas, pitches, and passions here each week, this blog seems aptly titled, Entrepreneurs Galore.

ROLL CALL for OCTOBER 24, 2019

Hosted tonight by me, Michael Scott Novilla, Author of It’s 5 AM Go HomeI’m currently in Montreal, watching the snowfall as I type this, a bit behind in my storytelling due to my efforts, before during and after, towards Novaween 13. Wow, what a night THAT was. And yes, I did actually walk home at 6 am. Ask Adventure Chef Brent Shaver

A big THANK YOU to my brother Chris Novilla for running the show, the gorgeous Mayven Missbehavin, hellcat Nancy Alexander, Dr. Paul Bearer for their hosting and more, and Chris “Phreak Clown” Jenkins for all their extra efforts towards making #13 so so special!

Below is a quick glimpse at the on-stage Costume Contest Chaos where you can find our fav blood-soaked Clown.

Continuing with our roll call, is Pilot James Lewis of James Air and Pedal Pub owner Eric Olsen.  Max Glazer (green and white shirt below) founder of The Shave Cave returns to share his Wednesday, November 13, 2019 Ribbon Cutting news for his new location at 215 1st Street North, Downtown St. Pete, just east across the street from his OLD location in Sundial. Brother and sister team Natalie Pommier and Alexander Pommier of QuickSocial (to Max’s right) return as does our favorite couple Chris Jenkins and V-Spicery Kym Jenkins, to Max’s left.

A very Happy Birthday to Debb Dabaj, pictured above the left corner behind Kym Jenkins. Continuing around the table from Debb is Sandra Bushart and Kim Ottaviani, both sporting white hairs of the wise, then Grow with Chihu, our pal Ashley Ritter, success coaches Chris Delaney, and his lovely beau Danielle Laura, pictured below, who is celebrating publishing her 2 New Books!!

Danielle Laura

Still heading around the table is Kathlene Siede of WhyStPete.com that offers Monthly Bicycle (Home) Tours. Next is newcomer Greg Preisel who pitches a tech start-up Beer Me. It’s pitched as for replacing the gift card with a Beer Me, we STRONGLY suggest he pause and talk to Roger Curlin and Andreas Neuart before moving forward. Greg is accompanied by Soyoung Preisel, who we met earlier.

Continuing along is Cristel Brito wearing a black shirt and long brown hair, sitting next to Jarid Fenderson (shaved head wearing a red shirt) the author Lost Art of Communication. Next is (we can’t see above, sorry Andrew) Andrew Jacobson of Mach Alert Fire Station AlertingTim Salmonson of Cause Marketing, Dan Novello CPA (shown below on our left) then Career Compas salesman Steven Rosen, directly above wearing glasses. Next (wearing orange) is the lovely Jennifer Cruz in pre-startup mode with her Just Cause Chocolates, who is providing Chocolate Therapy, for herself and others, while donating $ to the military. She served in the Army, thank you, Jennifer! Just behind Jen is Dontriel Lawson of Laposid cleaning services, Marcel Gruber a newcomer from Austin Texas, and owner of some multi-family homes. The hilarious Christopher Tolisano with tongue out shares his Best Day Fitness company with us all.

Dinner Time

Dinner tonight was at our favorite Dinner at Brick and Mortar, 539 Central Avenue, Downtown St. Pete. Delicious as always!
