Unfortunately, or not, I’ve still gotta experience, organize, type and publish my stories here, old school. Ish. Like “Back in the Day,” I’m still taking photos with a physical camera, editing them on my computer, and typing these words on a frustrating keyboard. One that I still have to look at here and there for the correct keys. Liquid Paper and 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper, plus those maddening printers are gone from my desk, but typing and thinking and crafting a story are still the same as Back in the Day. So tonight we discuss the future and what “back in the day” means to us all.

Hey, I’m Globetrotting Entrepreneur Michael Scott Novilla, traveling our planet, ( see where I’ve been) connecting and mentoring my fellow Entrepreneurs. While I’m home in Sunny St. Pete Florida, I enjoy hosting my weekly Entrepreneur Social Club [tm], held most always at my historic Downtown St. Pete venue NOVA 535. Tonight is Thursday, March 28, 2019, and we are back here inside my 100-year-old brick building, the ESC HQ, NOVA 535. It does feel good to be home. Let’s see what we got into tonight, including a most interesting discussion about leaving our legacy.
A Laughter Filled NOVA Comedy Night
The “S” in ESC, stands for Social. A most important part, let’s call it the heart, of our club. Our Social Club. The Entrepreneur Social Club [tm]. So as we gathered once again, at our HQ, the world-class historic downtown St. Pete venue, NOVA 535, we had an extra reason to smile. Tonight, Thursday Match 21, 2019, our members strolled in, beginning at 6 pm, sauntering up to the bar, saying their hellos, with warm hugs and welcomes all around. There was an extra crackle of positive energy in the air, as tonight we were anticipating a Laughter Filled NOVA Comedy Night.
So where am I?
After my mind-blowing, epic 416 days of travel around the globe, I still wake up each day, to the exact same question. So where am I? It’s surreal, exhilarating and momentarily befuddling; then my home bedroom wall comes into focus. Yes, OK, no packing today. I’m back in my hometown, beautiful Downtown St. Pete, Florida. Unsurprisingly, I haven’t found any edges to our globe yet, even after adding all these stops to my globetrotting list…

Hello to my fellow Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, Dreamers, Start-Ups and Positive Folks, it’s Michael Scott Novilla, the founder of the Entrepreneur Social Club [tm], returning home from an epic 416-day world tour. Our resident Tech Guru Chris Jenkins managed and hosted the St. Pete, Florida chapter of the ESC while I was away, he is most deserving of and certainly get’s my deepest appreciation and gratitude. For our weekly evening of networking, schmoozing, business development, mentoring, laughter, business card reviewinf and so much more! It’s typically the highlight of the week for many of us, for the camaraderie, the imparted wisdom, the hugs, smiles and laughter; plus if you hang around long enough, you may be an #afterparty #falloutvictum. Friends and Family gather for Nova Noel 10
As each year comes to an end, our Friends and Family gather for Nova Noel. Meeting up a final time at our HQ, the historic DTSP venue NOVA 535, for our Nova Noel, wild annual holiday party. December 28, 2017 brought us our 10th Nova Noel, each one filled with special memories and unique moments that can only be concocted by the combo of Entrepreneurs, small business owners, Santa time and plenty of alcohol. Nova Noel 10 certainly didn’t disappoint. Laughs, zaniness, gorgeous ladies swinging from the rafters and Santa strutting his stuff, all while we enjoyed the delicious beats of DJ MEGA and the tasty, healthy food from Chef Ray Milton. Luckily I hired photographer Ann Coffman to capture all of our madness, so I could spend more time zipping around spreading our unique ESC holiday cheer!

Thursday May 25, 2017 is another delightful St. Pete, Florida day, though it’s getting hotter fo sho. SUMMER IS COMING!! (yelled with a Game of Thrones enthusiasm) Yet with the breeze it’s still quite enjoyable. We gather every Thursday since 2009, to schmooze, network, mentor, listen, learn and hopefully get a bit smarter and wiser. The world is changing faster and faster, and even us cutting and bleeding edge Entrepreneurs are having an increasingly difficult time keeping up. We do what we can to keep it all together, yet according to some really, really smart, visionaries, we are likely to get passed by. And bested. By Algorithms. Biology and data are all algorithms. All programmable. But before we get too worked up, let’s grab a drink and some laughs and dig into tonight’s human to human meeting!

Last week one of our ESC members, the lovely and talented Dona Crowley, held her Luminescence Blacklight Fashion Show and Art Experience during our normal meeting time. Beautiful models painted with blacklight effective body paint, food and music and lots of fun.
