Tonight is Thursday, June 6, 2019, and we’re gathering at my historic DTSP venue NOVA 535 for our weekly Entrepreneur Social Club [tm] meeting time. A fun couple of hours spent with fellow visionaries, business owners, smart alecks, dreamers, gurus, and mentors. From pre startups to industry titans, they all swing by to share their newest ideas, what they’ve heard around the web and offer smart advice and wisdom. Those of us who follow that good advice, who keep at it with hard work and continuous improvement, we find success. And out of all this, we also find friendships, connections and shared moments too fabulous to ever make it onto the screen here. Sometimes those friendships turn into delicious Vietnamese Fusion dining, offered up by one of our favorite hospitality Entrepreneurs herself, Thuy Le. So let’s celebrate our shared Entrepreneurial life, with a rousting 1, 2, Thuy Tequila Shots Tonight!
Tonight is Thursday, May 30, 2019, and we’re gathering at my historic DTSP venue NOVA 535 for our weekly Entrepreneur Social Club [tm]. Fast-forwarding a bit, we’re enjoying a fun, lively, delicious dinner time full of Sushi Saké Kanpai at downtown St. Pete restaurant and bar Saké 23. I’m filming around the dining table, talking “Salad”, an expression my brother Chris Novilla uses when I’m talking funny nonsense. Funny to me for sure. Which I do, as any true and proper April Fool born should be doing; trying to stir up some fun, general class clown tomfoolery, while our social club dinner is happening! Here’s to Sushi Saké Kanpai! The Entrepreneur Social Club [tm] presents, Yo Entrepreneurs Tonight We Drink to Hanoi!!
Yet another hot, humid Hanoi Thursday night descends upon us, in the lovely north of Vietnam. It’s me, Michael Scott Novilla, hosting another of my infamous Entrepreneur Social Club [tm] meetings. The good ol’ ESC. June 21 of 2018 already, the weeks pass like days, the hours like minutes. Things are only gonna get faster and crazier, fo sho, as the Singularity approaches. My head is spinning from the fact that I’ve already hosted 6 ESC Meetings, here in Hanoi, Vietnam, tonight my 7th. May 10, May 17, May 24, May 31, June 7, June 14 and tonight’s June 21. I HAD planned on June 28, 2018 as my grande finale, BUT just realized my visa ends June 26 not June 29, so this is it my friends! To celebrate while saying a bittersweet Goodbye. Yo Entrepreneurs Tonight We Drink to Hanoi!!
The Entrepreneur Social Club [tm] discusses what I hear so many people say. I Wanna Be a Hanoi Tour Guide.
Tonight is another hot, sticky and humid Thursday night in Hanoi, Vietnam. I, Michael Scott Novilla the founder of the “ESC”, try to avoid this humidity with all my might. Yet here I am, hosting my always fun and productive Entrepreneur Social Club [tm]. It’s June 14, 2018, to be precise, and as 7:00 pm (that’s 19:00) approaches I wonder who will join us tonight..? I promise it’ll be productive AND fun, as it ALWAYS is! Check out the photos and ESC BLOG from last week’s June 7 meeting! Again we gather at TOONG CoWorking, Tầng 3, 8 Tràng Thi, Hàng Trống, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội. I’ve been hosting this meeting almost every single Thursday night since 2009, and one thing is for sure, I never know exactly how it’ll go. Let’s see…

Tonight is Thursday June 7, 2018 and Michael Scott Novilla, that’s me, the founder of the “ESC”, am hosting my always fun and productive Entrepreneur Social Club [tm]. Productive AND fun? Yea!! At our HQ, located at my world-class wedding and unique event venue NOVA 535. Here in Hanoi, I’m using MeetUp plus old school style networking, and passing out my business cards. This is connecting me with my fellow like-minded Entrepreneurs. Locals and people visiting from all over. China, Korea, Japan, Brazil, Paraguay, Italy, Spain, Canada, France, and well, you get it. Let’s keep things moving and find out why the Entrepreneur Social Club enjoys Scientists Sushi and Splits in Hanoi Vietnam. (more…)
Sushi Night at Souzou Fusion Restaurant Downtown St. Pete
Tonight, Thursday June 16, 2016 we are off-site at Souzou Fusion Restaurant, located at 435 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Call (727) 823-4050 for reservations. Typically we are at my historic wedding and event venue NOVA 535, but tonight NOVA is booked for a private affaire, a glamourous wedding ceremony and reception. So we’ve ventured out to my pal Mike Harting’s (owner of 3 Daughter’s Brewing) swanky spot Souzou for our meeting, dinner and drinks. A night filled with sushi and sake! Compi!!
Tonight Thursday May 26, 2016 we decided to stay at historic event venue NOVA 535 for our post meeting dinner and drinks so we could watch our local hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, play in game 7 of the Stanley Cup semifinals against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Hence the title Hot Pucks and Cold Fish. This was a smart suggestion made by Nick Mazeika (Business Consulting and NOVA 535 Sales) in our weekly meeting with Chris Jenkins (I’m Their Web Guy and CTO Symphoni Media), so we were sure we’d have plenty of space and be able to watch or schmooze or both, right here in the comfort of our NOVAverse. We love frequenting the many fabulous restaurants, cafes and nightlife options here in Downtown St. Pete, aka DTSP, but it’s also nice not to have to drive anywhere. You all are welcome for the extra 20 minutes and free parking!
Thursday, March 10, 2016 was another exciting gathering of our weekly social club for business owners and Entrepreneurs. The last few meetings had people squeezing in here and there, while this week was a bit smaller. Size matters, and when we have smaller groups (under 25 guests) we can spend a bit more time drilling down, vs with larger groups, we only have about 90 minutes for everyone. They both are great and I enjoy each for what it offers. Tonight we dug deep: Pitching at the deep end of the Artpool. But before tonight’s ESC, I spent some time in DTSP, short for Downtown St. Pete, getting my hair cut at world-famous VLVT Salon on Central Ave, then “lunching” (always sounds so cool vs “having lunch”) at the always delicious Gratzzi Italian Restaurant. Earlier, while I was showering, I used the great smelling, all-natural soaps from local, fellow Entrepreneur Kim, founder of Bodhi’s Basics. A day full of Entrepreneurs creating wonderful things for us all. When’s the last time YOU THANKED an ENTREPRENEUR for all they do? =D
