Leading the Way to a Better Pitch, Z Grille then Ruby’s Elixir
Thursday Feb 25, 2016 was a beautiful evening as we all met, once again at my historic, modernized wedding and event venue NOVA 535, for our weekly (since 2009) gathering, the Entrepreneur Social Club. This weekly gathering is the perfect time to blow off our business and entrepreneurial steam, to grab a drink, or 3, and meeting new people, and for enjoying our long-time ‘family’.
After our weekly Entrepreneur, Social Club meeting ends, we head further into downtown St. Petersburg to one of our favorite, delicious restaurants, where we eat, drink (more!) and continue to be merry! The ESC is a purely social club infused with strong, real-world business wisdom, mentoring, networking and problem-solving. And all of that work’s up our appetites, so I’ll get right down to the sharing of our 2015 Favorite Downtown St. Pete Restaurants for Dinner after the ESC. They are in alphabetical order for ease and fairness, I’ll note the ones that are member-owned and / or exceptionally great! Keep in mind that we only go to restaurants with adult beverages, though some here only serve beer and wine. Also, a key factor is lighting, ambiance and being able to sit 12-20+ of us all together. No sitting apart, this is a group event, the Entrepreneur Social Club. And yes, it’s ok to buy me, Michael S. Novilla, the founder, dinner. =D

Every Thursday night, since 2009, we meet, most always at my historic venue NOVA 535 Unique Event Space, located in beautiful downtown St. Pete, Florida, for the Entrepreneur Social Club, aka the ESC. We spend the first 30-45 minutes drinking, socializing and schmoozing, in a fun, casual atmosphere, before we sit down for the meeting. Our rules are simple, NO religion NO politics, just come and enjoy a fun and productive couple of hours with like minded Entrepreneurs – from ideas and start-ups to Billion $ businesses. NO need to register, just check the MEETING LOCATION (most always at NOVA, occasionally offsite when NOVA 535 is booked for private wedding or event).
Tonight was another fabulous Thursday here at historic venue NOVA 535 Unique Event Space in gorgeous downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. See every Thursday we meet, most always at NOVA, sometimes offsite due to NOVA being booked for a private event. Meetings are a fun and productive blend of networking, pitching, reviewing, laughing, drinking and smoking (outside), connecting, spit-balling, brainstorming, teaching, learning and realizing that we Entrepreneurs are part of one big family. The ESC is our family, here to help, support, love, criticise and make the world a much better place.
The quick boil down title of tonight’s weekly Entrepreneur Social Club meeting is “Chinese Imports Venue Viking and Veal Parmigiana”. Huh? Yup read on…
On Thursday April 9, 2015 we gathered once again at my 1920 historic yet modern wedding and event venue NOVA 535 Unique Event Space, here in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Last Thursday April 2nd we took a break from the productive meeting side of the Entrepreneur Social Club, affectionately called the ESC, to enjoy a birthday party in honor of NOVA 535 which turned a lucky 7, myself turning 47 and my longtime pal Mario turned the big 50. We’ve been meeting weekly since 2009, to learn, laugh, listen, help, party, share, grow ourselves and our businesses, all while helping those around us AND avoiding religion and politics, which are both strictly forbidden by club rules. See that’s why even when we argue, we still get along. Genius!
A new member suggested we try SAZON for dinner, which about 10 of us did, and wow was the Spanish food delicious! We’ll definitely be back for more.

Every Thursday at the gorgeous St. Pete venue NOVA 535, the Entrepreneur Social Club meeting begins at 6 pm. This meeting is part drinking, part socializing and networking, part helping and mentoring, part teaching and sharing, part pitching and selling, part laughing and goofing around, part making new friends and business connections, and part realizing that we, as positive creative ‘can-do’ people, must be the evolutionary change the world so desperately needs. So by 8 pm-ish, we’ve worked up quite an appetite, and most of the group sticks together to dine and continue to enjoy the entrepreneurial creative ‘bubble’ that we’ve formed over the last few hours. During dinner, new real friendships take hold, business ideas and plans are discussed, deals are made and creative dreams are born, and lots of joking, laughter, drinking and fun is had.
