Thursday, January 12, 2016 heralds our weekly gathering with the Entrepreneur Social Club, AKA the ESC. We have been meeting every Thursday, sans any major holidays like Thanksgiving, since January 2009. In the light of a wedding being on schedule for tonight at our DTSP headquarters, historic wedding and event venue NOVA 535, we are offsite for ESC. So we ventured to Suozou Asian Fusion Restaurant to enjoy French Accents Hard Science and Sushi Galore, at 435 5th Avenue North. Call them at 727-823-4050, they are fabulous!
Attendance sometimes dips when we are offsite, and I use the time when I’m sitting there alone waiting for our members for a moment of introspection. For instance, I think: Why are you doing this Michael? Who will show tonight? As I organize my laptop and get my Cannon 6D ready, I ponder what the ESC means to me… Why every Thursday I spend my valuable time and energy on my “charity”, a free social club focused on helping and mentoring my fellow Entrepreneurs.
At this point, the introspection soon gives way to a room full of great energy. A group full of hopes, dreams, business plans, successes and failures, and I’m reminded why I spend my Thursdays with these talented folks. Even if tonight is a more intimate gathering of about 15 or so, it’s a night filled with French Accents Hard Science and Sushi Galore!
Dr. Mindy Beck, along with Patrick Marzin, both pictured above, are working with TilysBioTech.com. They and Tilys are focused on “Making Technology BioCompatable”.
I did some quick internet research and found “There are three main reasons why people are concerned that cell phones (also known as “mobile” or “wireless” telephones) might have the potential to cause certain types of cancer or other health problems: Cell phones emit radio frequency energy (radio waves), a form of non-ionizing radiation, from their antennas. ”
“The electric field is produced by stationary charges, and the magnetic field by moving charges (currents); these two are often described as the sources of the field. The way in which charges and currents interact with the electromagnetic field is described by Maxwell’s equations and the Lorentz force law.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_field
These fields are everywhere, from cellphones, wifi, TVs, and increasingly from most every device made by man. The IoT (Internet of Things) is coming!!
However, these waves are not BioCompatable – they are harmful to us. The famous study of microwaved water shows how harmful it is, one of the reasons I don’t own one in my home. There are people, scientists, all over the globe trying to solve this, so we don’t ultimately “cook” ourselves and our DNA. Mindy and Patrick are here sharing their knowledge and some tech that hopefully proves to be helpful. At the least we are all reminded of these dangers and are shown how we may help ourselves.
Wow, that’s lofty! We’re here to help Frank, welcome to the ESC! I asked him why? “I want to care for my family and help people too via sharing my profits.”
Above is an one of the TilysBioTech.com devices. From their website: “Tilys Biotech Adapters make technology biocompatible by transforming aggressive Electromagnetic Radiation (aEMR) into something the body can handle thus synchronizing us with nature.” Drew actually bought 3 of them, one for me, John and himself (Thanks T$). The science seems sound, indeed. Drew’s pals (the guys with the masters and Phds in EMF science) are in the meantime doing their due diligence. Certainly Mindy and Martin made a compelling case, we spoke for a while after dinner. Super sweet couple, and it was great getting to know them.
My best friend and business partner, Drew Edwards of BridesAgainstBreastCancer.com, is in town (from Atlanta) on business. Drew! He’s meeting with John Hockin, who coincidentally happens to be an expert in EMF, the subject of much of tonight’s discussions. Notably, last time I saw John was at Drew’s July 4th wedding at my historic wedding and event venue NOVA 535 right here in beautiful DTSP. Great seeing you both!
