It’s Thursday, January 16, 2020, my first ESC meeting after returning back to the USA from another EPIC travel adventures. Republic of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and South Korea. Then landed into Las Vegas for CES 2020, where I spent a few days with ESC pal Seth Mattox. Wow! My head still spinning, I find myself back here at our HQ, my historic venue, NOVA 535. Our Entrepreneur Social Club [tm], aka the ESC, gathers each week, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm for business development, drinks, mentoring, networking, laughter, plus sharing successes, failures and honest feedback. Then we go downtown for dinner and more drinks. As 2020 is now upon us, let me offer up a Happy 2020 Entrepreneur Social Club to us all! (more…)
At The Queens Head we are Always Treated Like Royalty!
A delightfully cooler Thursday October 5, 2017, as we returned to an Entrepreneur Social Club ™ favorite restaurant and bar, The Queens Head. Located at 2501 Central Avenue, in beautiful Downtown St. Pete “DTSP” Florida. Our pal, fellow ESC member and TQH owner Tracy Asalita, all smiles, was warmly welcoming us back. When my historic venue NOVA 535 is booked for private weddings and events, – ya know paying the mortgage and all that – we venture off site for the 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm portion of our weekly meet up. We always do dinner and more drinking after the meeting; tonight we just accelerated that agenda. Tracy is the relatively new owner of the legendary The Queens Head, a DTSP staple for years. We love her, and she and her delightful team make sure everyone gets Treated Like Royalty.
Thursday March 17, 2016 aka St. Patrick’s Day, was, as these publicly celebrated holiday are, a meeting attendance wildcard. It’s uncertain how many people show up each week for the Entrepreneur Social Club, aka the ESC, as we don’t require any registration. Just show up to downtown St. Pete venue NOVA 535, and enjoy! With these ‘minor’ holidays (we’re closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, for example) you never can tell who’s gonna show up. I had just literally got off the plane from Las Vegas Catersource 2016, and it was a bit of a late start, then my fellow Entrepreneurs joined in for our weekly fix. And what an excellent night it was. I’m calling this story. A Lucky Night at NOVA 535 then Dinner and Drinks at The Queens Head. Yes I know the English and Irish aren’t historically pals, but Tracy the owner of the always fun and delicious The Queens Head was in attendance, so our restaurant choice tonight was easy peasy!
