My Story
Feels like I've worn quite a few hats: Mom, soldier, antique dealer, engineer, lover, student, daughter, sista, are just a few. Some of these roles have made me smile, others have caused me heartache. But hey, this is A Life NOT My Own ...
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering. I’ve got two grown kids and am the grandmother to the cutest little boy ever! Now residing in Tampa, Florida, after my entire life took an unexpected route, I continue to share my stories with the world.

Struggles of the Women Folk is a multi-award winning book. I created an engaging, fictional, though powerful piece from the stories that my grandmother shared with me as a child.
